Free public SMS receivers show messages to everyone, meaning your OTP codes are visible to anyone. Znox assigns numbers privately to your account — only you can see the messages. We also provide non-VoIP numbers that work on services which reject public numbers, and we guarantee delivery within 10 seconds.

No — Znox works entirely in your web browser. We also offer iOS and Android apps for convenience, but they are completely optional. You can access your dashboard and receive OTPs from any device with a web browser.

Yes. We exclusively provide real, non-VoIP phone numbers. This means they work even on services that reject VoIP or virtual numbers (such as certain banking apps, WhatsApp, Telegram, and others). This is one of our key differentiators from cheaper competitors.

Numbers are available for a single SMS verification session. Once you receive your OTP, the number is released. If you need a number for a longer duration or multiple uses, please contact our support team to discuss dedicated number options.

No — credits never expire. Top up once and use them whenever you need, at your own pace. There is no minimum spend per month unless you are on a subscription plan.

If a number fails to receive an SMS within the allotted time window (typically 20 minutes), your credits are automatically refunded to your balance instantly — no support ticket, no delay, no questions asked.

Our infrastructure is built for speed. Most OTP messages arrive within 5–10 seconds of being sent. In rare cases involving international routing, delivery may take up to 60 seconds. If no message arrives within 20 minutes, you receive an automatic credit refund.

Each number purchase is for one OTP session. However, if multiple SMS messages arrive within the active window, you will see all of them in your dashboard at no extra charge.

Occasionally, a service may have blocked the specific number we issued, or there may be a temporary routing issue. Credits are refunded automatically if the first fails. Our uptime is 99.9%, but rare network issues can occur.

Yes — we provide a full REST API for Pro and Enterprise plan users. The API lets you programmatically request numbers, poll for incoming SMS, and manage your balance. Full documentation is available on the API page.

The API uses API key authentication. You generate a key from your dashboard settings. All API requests must include your key in the X-API-Key header. Keys can be rotated at any time.

Pro plan users are limited to 60 requests per minute. Enterprise plan users have a higher limit of 300 requests per minute. Custom limits are available for very high-volume use cases — contact sales.

SMS messages are stored temporarily — long enough for you to read your OTP (up to 24 hours after receipt). After that, messages are permanently and automatically deleted from our servers. We never read, analyse, or share your message content.

Absolutely not. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your data is used exclusively to provide the Znox service. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

Yes. All card payments are processed by PCI-DSS-compliant payment processors. We never store your full card details on our servers. All data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.3. Crypto payments offer additional anonymity.

Visit our Sign Up page, enter your email address and a password, and verify your email. That's it — you'll have immediate access to your dashboard and can top up to start using numbers straight away.

Yes — you can request account deletion at any time from your account settings or by emailing support@znox.net. Unused credit balances are refunded upon deletion where technically feasible.
